Which fixtures are affected, and what has already gone down the drain. The first settles branch or main in about thirty seconds.
The cheap answers first
If it is one slow fixture and nothing has been poured down it, we will tell you what to try before we come out — a plunger with the overflow blocked, or a hand snake past the trap.
Establish the pipe before the method
Clay, cast iron, ABS or PVC, and roughly how old.
Clear it, then say what caused it
A blockage cleared without a cause explained is a blockage you will pay for again.
